This is my return to WordPress for the first time in a long time. I’ve been considering what to write about on here and decided to mimic a friend of mine and just generally disclose information. I have decided to discuss in this post my recent and long awaited college acceptance to Pace University. This college has, maybe inadvertently, been favored by me. Last September I went with my friend Jim Holmes to his moving in ceremony and immediately was drawn in. From then on we discussed the idea of me coming to join him there and this semester I decided to take that shot and make situational discussions into real events. I received the acceptance letter on March 20th and was overjoyed. I had also applied to the University at Albany, but they lost my 40 dollar deposit and claimed that I should pay it again, which i decided against. Their letter said that they cancelled my application but it didn’t matter, my mind had already been made up. The next step in my path to Pace is simply maintaining a 3.0 GPA for the rest of my semester. I had a 3.18 in the first half, so I expect to hold up that end of the bargain. That coupled with obtaining 600 dollars for a few fees are the finishing touches on making my birthday wish come true fully. It was to be accepted to a college for the fall and go away to it and I’m on the verge of fulfilling that request.
Good way to improve!
I am an avid San Francisco Giants fan and I am very glad that they acquired Aaron Rowand. This guy had a breakout year in 2007 and I honestly expect him to do it again in 2008. It feels good to see the Giants taking advantage of free agency and making good moves forward to better the franchise.

New England Patriots
All of the discussion regarding the New England Patriots has gotten a little bit overwhelming. I’d first like to say I’m not here to bash the Patriots for what they have accomplished. They are having a remarkable season and nothing or no one should take away from that. All of the pieces are coming together nicely and they have the right unit of guys to go all the way. That being said, I just want to remind everyone that in 2005, the Indianapolis Colts also went 13-0 through week 14. The talk wasn’t all there for a Colts team which I feel in the long run and with all players uninjured, is better than the current New England team. I’m not a Colts fan either, actually I’m a fan of the Denver Broncos, who aren’t their usual selves this year, or maybe the last 2, but things look good for the future. I just wanted to bring up the point about the Colts’ 13-0 start 2 years ago to make sure people still consider and remember the Colts as the powerhouse team they still are.

My Welcome
I have just joined WordPress this morning, creating my blog shortly after. Although I haven’t decided on any one thing to post blogs on, I’ll just take it day by day. Sports activity will mostly be commented on, but I keep up with other news as well. That’s all for now.
